As part of its CSR activities, R. Stahl Private Limited donated a Digital X-Ray machine, including a developer and printer worth nearly ₹12 lakhs, to Sevalaya Nilgiris’ Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Gudalur, in The Nilgiris district. At an event held on 13 Jun 2025, B Ramakrishnan, Managing Director of R. Stahl Private Limited, inaugurated the facility in the presence of students from the Lab Technician Assistant and Nursing Assistant courses at Sevalaya’s Community College and the hospital staff. Dr Vikram, Sevalaya Nilgiris Hospital, explained the functions of the equipment to the Chief Guest. The facility will benefit 2,000 poor patients, including tribal people, who visit the hospital every month. R. Stahl has also supported Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School in Kasuva village, Tiruvallur with digital education essentials and Sevalaya’s V. T. Shanthi Memorial Senior Citizens’ Home in Dharmapuri with solar panels. In his speech, Ramakrishnan said, “In a way, Stahl also works in the area of care for the people, as the company is engaged in producing safety equipment. We came to know about Sevalaya through their Annual Report, which was very impressive. We are also very impressed by the professionalism of Sevalaya right from submitting proposals for projects, to implementation, and timely submission of reports with accurate data. The wide range of services offered by Sevalaya in multiple areas is amazing. We are very happy that we have got an opportunity to participate, to an extent, in the noble services offered by Sevalaya for the underprivileged.” Earlier, Dr Thilak, Sevalaya Nilgiris Hospital welcomed the guests, and Sevalaya Muralidharan briefly explained Sevalaya’s activities. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest.
