Free Healthcare

The Sevalaya Nilgiris’ Mahatma Gandhi Hospital is focused on serving the underprivileged, particularly the tribal community in Nilgiris. Through continuous engagement over the years, we have built a relationship of trust with the community. The hospital and its mobile medical vans that conduct camps in remote hamlets in the hills, hope to fulfil the vision of catering to all the medical needs of the tribal populace.

Community Outreach

Once a year, a set of new clothes and a woollen blanket are given to those without the means, besides used clothes. Essential ration kits and disaster relief materials are provided throughout the year and when the need arises.

After-School Study Centres

14 After-School Study Centres around the Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka serve multiple tribal villages. Government school children benefit through these free tuition centres equipped with modern “Smartboards”, presenting knowledge attractively.
